About Espas

Haluk Hatipoglu

 

Graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Architecture. Worked in various private institutions in the fields of design and implementation. Between 1990 and 2014, as a founding partner of the INTERHOTELS group, worked as a designer and consultant in the realization and operation of various hospitality projects. Since 2014, has been carrying out design and implementation works in architecture and interior architecture as a co-founder of Espas Architects. Since 1976, has been teaching Construction Management and Architectural Design Studio courses as a lecturer at Mimar Sinan University, Yeditepe University, and Özyeğin University.

ILKE HATIPOGLU

 

Graduated from Mimar Sinan University, Department of Interior Architecture in 2002. Between 2002 and 2014, worked independently as a designer and implementer on residential, hotel, office, and restaurant projects. Since 2014, has been a founding partner of Espas Architects and teaches Furniture Design and Implementation Project courses as a lecturer at Yeditepe University and Işık University.
İlke Hatipoğlu, who has been professionally involved in music since 1996, has released 7 albums with Redd, the group he founded. He continues his music and album work with his new band, Eqho.

BERKE HATIPOGLU

 

Graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Architecture. Worked freelance on presentation and 3D architectural visualization projects with various architectural offices. Served as a lecturer at Maltepe University's Department of Architecture between 2004-2009, and at Doğuş University's Departments of Architecture and Interior Architecture between 2009-2013. Since 2013, has been teaching Architectural Representation Techniques, CAD and Architectural Visualization, and Architectural Design Studio courses at Özyeğin University's Faculty of Architecture. Since 2014, has been working in the field of architecture as a co-founder of Espas Architects.
In 1996, he released six studio albums and one live performance album with his band Redd, which he founded, between 2005 and 2014. He continues his musical activities with Eqho, which he founded in 2015 with Başar Ünder, Nedim Ruacan, and İlke Hatipoğlu.

BURCAK BERBEROGLU

 

Graduated from Mimar Sinan University, Department of Industrial Design. Since 2004, worked as an interior architecture and design manager in various companies. In 2013, designed products and industrial kitchens for hotel, restaurant, and cafe projects within a corporate industrial kitchen company. Following individual project works, has been working with Espas Architects since 2020.
He is professionally continuing his interest in visual arts and painting in his own studio.
