C. House is a residence located in the Yanık neighborhood of Sapanca, designed to be used both individually and collectively by different members of a family. It consists of a large volume comprising the accommodation functions and a smaller workshop volume. While these two volumes surround and isolate the pool and open living areas from the environment, they unify under a common eave, creating an entrance for both volumes at their junction. The side of the pool area not enclosed by the building is surrounded by a densely wooded, uninhabited park and a rising topography beyond. Designed for use in all seasons, the residence ensures the privacy of its open areas by forming a boundary with its own mass against other villas located to the north and northeast. As part of this approach, the southern facade of the building is kept as transparent as possible to allow light into the spaces, while minimum openings are created on the northern facade to ensure both privacy and appropriate thermal conditions.
