Location

The services encompass the interior design and the implementation of woodworking for a 4-story building (plus basement) with a total area of approximately 2,000 m², commissioned by ARÜV ÇEVRE in the Yarımca district of Kocaeli.
ARÜV ÇEVRE, which has been providing environmental consultancy services since 1992, relocated its headquarters from Antalya to Kocaeli to meet its growing operational needs
The new headquarters in Kocaeli is organized to include a reception and waiting area, meeting rooms, open and private offices, a cafeteria and kitchen, a seminar area, archives, service areas, and executive offices. The ground floor is arranged to house the reception and waiting area alongside a main meeting room, accounting offices, and an archive room, while the basement level features the cafeteria, kitchen, and seminar area. Open-plan offices are located on the first and second floors, with two executive offices situated on the top floor.
On the ground floor, the partition behind the reception desk separates the offices, meeting room, and archive areas from the entrance lounge while allowing light to pass through, softening the relationship between these functional zones and the foyer.
The open-plan office floors are arranged along the glass facade with a meeting room positioned at the center, creating a bright and spacious atmosphere.
In the design of the executive offices, the existing vaulted roof of the building served as a primary determinant. A system was developed that respects the building's form and preserves the ceiling height while concealing existing structural imperfections with a custom-crafted wooden shell. This system ensures continuity between the ceiling and walls, with lighting fixtures integrated as a cohesive part of the overall design.
